Abîme de Bramabiau

[SECTION TEXTE]
In the midst of the Aigoual, the river Bonheur arises in the open. At the level of the Causse de Camprieu, it divides itself in several underground rivers which dig a real labyrinth, several kilometers long, before re-appearing in the open, taking the name « Bramabiau ». This name comes from the langdocian occitan « bramabuou » that means « the squalling ox ». This is due to the smashing noise of a 10 meters high waterfall. You will be able to visit this cave and the underground river from April to October during an organized tour of 1km.
